(Rope) Bottoming beginners

We firmly believe that bottoming is more then passively throwing yourself in a situation and simply sustaining it. Instead, we see bottoming for rope as combining many different skills and tools: from breathing techniques to mental stamina, body awareness, communication and more. These teachable skills can make all the difference in your bottoming experience and so we decided to create a space dedicated to learning and practicing these

This is a switching and self tying based class, meaning we welcome solo as well as couples. In each class expect a discussion of the weekly topic followed by demo and teaching of related skills and tools, after which there will be time to practice and see how these tools can be used in play. Feel free to repeat the topics that interest you as often as you like, as the content will change based on participants experience and individual challenges.

This is a bi-monthly class on Tuesdays

WHY vs HOW: The Intentions Behind Techniques By Laodai Davide

We are delighted to welcome back Laodai for a two-day workshop that dives into both the philosophy and the craft of rope.

Day 1: WHY

Why do we choose a certain shape, a suspension, or a mood in rope? Why do we tie at all? On the first day, Laodai guides us into the personal and artistic intentions behind shibari: exploring minimalism vs. maximalism, performance vs. session work, and how every detail can carry meaning. You’ll see how he approaches ties such as the Gote and Futomomo, and how suspension can become a language of its own.

Day 2: HOW

The second day is all about technique and detail. Laodai will share approaches to body harnesses, Agura, and suspension transitions, drawing from the routines he uses in performance. This is a chance to refine your rope, learn the reasoning behind his choices, and connect philosophy with practice.

Both days are open to new and returning participants, that can expect fresh concepts, not repetition. Laodai’s workshops are as inspiring as they are practical, blending heart, intention, and technical precision.

The workshop will be 08 & 09 November 11-18h

Eco Date Night / Ropes and Sensation play with organic materials

By Marcos and Vinzenz

Come with your partner to explore sensations (scents, scratches, slaps, textures) in combination with simple but effective rope play.  Guided with care, you’ll explore trust, connection, and the power of presence with your partner.

We will play, we will guide, we will teach and demonstrate. This event will be a balance between roughness and softness. We'll explore how to be tender with rough materials, and how to play harder with the fluffiest flowers.

Ropes will be the excuse to stay still on the floor. This will also be an endurance challenge. Besides positions, ropes, and play will not be technically hard, time will play an important factor in this game.

Please if you don’t have any rope experience, please come at least to one Wednesday beginners class beforehand. Switching is possible between the exercises.

This is a partnered class!

What to expect:

Floorplay, effective and quick capture ties.

Marks (rope and impact)

Partial nudity is optional

What to bring:

3 / 4 Ropes  (communal ropes are not available because of the nature of the workshop, if you need ropes you can buy some from us!)

Bed sheet ( it can get dirty!)

Towel

The workshop will include:

One Blindfold per couple

A wide range of organic materials to play with  (you can take some home afterwards!)

Slap Me Soft

A Somatic Exploration of Face Slapping as Relational Touch

Impact play - hitting and being hit - is not often associated with softness or care. And yet, that’s exactly what we’ll be seeking in this workshop. This is not about dominance or performance, but about inhabiting the paradox: how can something that looks like violence become an embodied gesture of tenderness, trust, and attunment?

Together, we will take our time to explore what it might mean to offer and receive a slap as an act of care: as anchored not in force, but in presence.

This is a slow and somatic class, inspired by the Feldenkrais method and nervous system-informed practices. We will move gently between activation and regulation, beginning with a solo warm-up to explore the physical sensations of impact without contact. You’ll get curious about how your body responds to hitting: where it holds, where it softens, where it resists.

From there, we’ll begin building a connection. Gradually and consensually, we’ll invite in relational touch: presence before contact, contact before impact. We’ll be cultivating the groundwork that makes it possible to approach face slapping not as a goal to achieve, but as a subtle practice that can emerge from safety, clarity, and mutual responsiveness. Actual face slaps will happen only at the end of the session, and always softly, if at all.

Throughout the workshop, you’ll be invited to:

  • Stay present with your body’s sensations and rhythms,

  • explore boundaries in a way that centers curiosity, not pressure,

  • Say yes, no, maybe, or change your mind at any point,

  • notice and welcome shame, resistance, and pleasure as they arise,

  • Reflect and integrate your experience through guided verbal processing.

This space is intentionally non-performative and not outcome-driven. It’s about pausing inside the paradox and listening to what unfolds when we don’t rush past discomfort, desire, or ambiguity. It’s about giving the body time to feel what it feels, without needing to justify it.

This class is best suited for those curious about embodiment, somatics, and slowness. You don’t need experience with impact play or BDSM. You are welcome to come solo or with a partner/friend. We will do our best to match participants for partnered exercises, and some trio formats may be used. A teaching assistant will be present to help support the room.

After the session, you’re welcome to stay and wind down in the space; this is not required, but often a nice way to land together.

- Practice receiving full-body pleasure that’s not limited to your genitals

- Learn how pleasure can be deeply connective and healing

This is a recurring workshop. Each evening includes different Tantric practices so you can deepen your knowledge and experience with Tantra and connect with a new group of participants.

Every evening includes elements of intimacy-building practices, meditation, breath, and touch-based practices to connect your Eros, your heart and your spirit.

This workshop prioritises consent. You'll never be obliged to touch or be touched by anyone. We begin the event with exercises that empower you to say "no" both verbally and non-verbally.

While we encourage exploring beyond your usual preferences, it's entirely your choice, and you never have to connect with or touch anyone.
